Strategaze as a concept was developing for almost five years before it finally launched in October 2024. While it ran independently with the same values and pragmatic mindset, helping numerous clients reach their goals through marketing and branding strategies, it did not have a name or brand; so it was time to change that.

Name finding: Setting Parameters Towards Success

Name setting was a journey of its own, taking a lot of collective brainstorming. Parameter setting helped guide creativity constructively. It also increased the time and effort to reach a consensus.

Set parameters included that the name should:

  • Have an available .com name & Social Media Handles

  • Be under 15 characters

  • Somehow reflect the values and ideas

  • Ideally, be smart and catchy!

Later on, another parameter was added. Why? Because one of the names ended up having connections with... adult content! After buying the domain without checking and wasting some cash, we added the fifth parameter to the list: The name should have a clean Google search.

Some shortlisted names included: Blend for Good, SocioBrands, Ethicpreneurs/Ethicpreneurship, Hustling For Good, Purpose Start, Zero2Growth, Freelance Era, Merismly (Thanks to Iwona, a dear friend of mine, for the last one!)

Finally, Ola, a fantastic musician and marketer, somehow came up with Strategaze, in a brainstorming-on-wheels-session. Special credits go to her, ending a 4-week name search in style!

The name clicked. It's a pun combining the words Strategy + Gaze, as we wish to help you achieve your vision for yourself and your business. It's original, with an available .com, and a clean Search history.

So the rest became history as well!

Brand Identity: Why the Chosen Logo, Colors, Designs, Fonts

Given what we stand for, our brand identity had to follow similar principles.

For creativity, lots of AI tools were used for brainstorming. One suggested a similar idea to the final logo, including the same number of circles but in a random fashion.

Michalis worked with that a bit more; using his eye, Greek heritage, and some color theory, he came up with the final version. Blue is traditionally used for brand identity as it conveys stability and trust - values we wish to stand for. The eye also plays with the gaze idea nicely.

Finally, fonts. The combination of Signika & Helvetica was found to be simple, matching, and accessible from most platforms' fonts, helping us later on with graphic designs.

Mediums: Website, Social Media

For the launch, Social Media accounts were set on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram; so make sure you check them out!

As for the website, we went with Hostinger. Its AI tools were powerful enough to ensure we reached a simple, yet quite custom-made website design, that's straightforward to use and uses our colors.

Wix and Squarespace were disqualified, after playing around with their tools. Wix didn't work as it did not allow for only mobile changes, and Squarespace designs didn't fit our vision.

To scale in the future, a redesign and transfer to WordPress is possible and accounted for.

Next Steps: This is an MVP - but we aim for Kaizen

Finally, one note:

We are true believers in two points:

  • Launch with an MVP (minimum viable product)

  • Focus on Kaizen improvement.

Perfectionism gets you nowhere in a fast-paced world.

Instead, it's all about consistent effort towards improvements.

That's what we stand for with Strategaze, and how we launched this brand.

We will continuously work to make our site, social, and brand better; slightly adding up our efforts with more case studies, better content, and fancier graphics.

So; if you have any feedback, please let us know. We care to find out how we can improve!
